Well?

The Grom has got 10hp/8lb-ft
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:40 |

You didn’t specify

Hey hey hey, there are people with Vanagons and 1300cc British engines in here, STFU with your three figure HP ratings.

That’s it? Wow.

1 Horse firing away.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:44 |

Peak torque doesn’t matter but yeah, that 102 hp isn’t going to get you anywhere quick. What is that a Mazda2?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:45 |

Haha, an old Honda Civic del Sol.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:45 |

The 520d is 100kw. The car I’m looking at purchasing this weekend is 99hp.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:46 |

My accord might be somewhere around there. The Benz makes 493 hp/590 ft-lb
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:46 |

LESS THAN 100! What are you looking at?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:47 |
|
That’s it. 60mph all day haha
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:47 |

87whp was my all time lowest on my aw11 MR2. Took SO-LOOONG to accellerate on the chassis dyno we were worried about pumping the top end full of all availabe oil. Revved to 8K for the hell of it....none the worse.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:49 |

not even one!
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:49 |

I think investigating lowest/highest power to weight might be of interest.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:50 |

I know a Toyota engine’s power numbers when I hear them. 155/220 pushing around 4600 lbs plus my fat ass (FJ80).
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:51 |

I’m pretty sure my regular form I have 0HP.
But my turbo teen form?
Jokes aside, It’s nice to read this thread and see cars with less HP than my ‘06 Civic

4Runner life! At least the 3F(?) is pretty dead reliable.

my old beetle got dyno’d at 20hp

Supercharged, but looking gooooood.

28 lbs per horsepower for me!
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:54 |

My hp numbers aren’t bad but my power to weight ratios are.

DO TELL!
![]() 03/30/2016 at 17:56 |
|
240/240 carrying around 3200lbs
Or
160/230 carrying around well over 5,000lbs
If the latter is still making 160hp though, I'd be genuinely shocked.

I’m not going to win, but my Rover has 72. I had a diesel Rabbit with 52, once.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:00 |

Well, my pickup doesn’t run, my lawnmower engine isn’t mounted to anything, so I guess a human can generate 1.5hp or something like that for short periods of time?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:00 |

My latest purchase is a rather small car with a mighty engine that pushes out 39 kW (~53 hp) and 90 Nm. It came with a lot of spare parts so actually I have three of these.

My Torque app claims I have about 89hp in my ‘07 Fit.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:06 |

I have a 2005 with 105 hp.

Total collection? or single vehicle?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:13 |

Ha! 24 hp and 42 NM on paper.

Fight me
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:22 |

About85 hp. Torque? Not sure, enough to move the car?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:24 |

Versa has 122HP, 127 lb-ft
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:24 |

still on the drive home from work.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:29 |

With 46hp and 72lb*ft I’m not the lowest, but I’m down there. My CT70H also has about 4hp though, so that counts for something.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:37 |

1976 Datsun B210: 64HP, 68 ft-lbs.

My 200 bhp/163 lbft/2800 pound Prelude is a hypercar compared to some of these.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:45 |

Around 74 bhp in the Series IIa. Probably less as that’s the factory spec.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 18:48 |

yep.
and l;et me tell ya, most fun 10HP you will have in your life
![]() 03/30/2016 at 19:03 |

I’m guessing my larger wheels & tires and roof rack aren’t helping. Good thing there are speed holes in the front bumper and exhaust.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 19:16 |
|
60hp no idea on torque.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 19:16 |
|
I believe it. I just thought it’d be a little higher. The 200cc engines on my 3 wheelers are 14hp.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 19:18 |

Damn, my Tercel would have won this competition of ineptitude.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 19:19 |

well, the grom also has to pas emissions and crap too right?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 19:29 |

Good point. that completely slipped my mind.

Van#2 - 92bhp

My soul had 99 new about 6 years ago.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 20:09 |

I’ll start with bikes, because two wheels good and I like cheating. When it was new, my Cub had 4.5 HP, 2.4 lb-ft torque. It now has about 12 HP, 7 lb-ft torque, thanks to a 2.5x displacement bump.
The CB175 has 20 HP, 11 lb-ft torque. Maybe a bit short now, it’s a bit tired. (13k miles is a long way for such a little engine.)
The CL350 has 36 HP, 18.5 lb-ft torque. It’s both low miles and VERY healthy. (Ok, it has a little electrical gremlin, but we are working on it.)
The never-finished CB550 project (now with 605cc!) should have around 63-65 HP (thanks to more displacement, more compression, more cam, and more carb), which is up from the ~50 it was claimed to have. Not that many torques, but more than the other bikes.
The Golf, on the other hand, makes many powers and many torques. It loses by AGES.

I’ve been known to hit 1200+ watts in sprints on the road bike. That’s like 1.6 hp. Do I win?
![]() 03/30/2016 at 20:55 |

Aw those are awesome.
![]() 03/30/2016 at 22:58 |

In general I guess!
![]() 03/31/2016 at 04:36 |

55hp/75lb-ft torque
![]() 04/02/2016 at 00:41 |

59 HP. Torque: too low to measure. (Nah, I just can't find the stats online. It's certainly not high, though.)
![]() 04/17/2016 at 16:15 |

70 hp / 68 pound-feet.
